I need to hire a videowall for an event – what are the mounting options?

All of our videowalls can either be wall mounted, built into an aperture or hung for a truss.

What content format is required for LCD / LED screens?

We recommend providing your video / content file in Mp4 format on a USB.

MOV or WMV are supported on Laptops and media players, we ask that you supply the content with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and codec of H.264

What does your assurance cover?

Our assurance covers loss / damage onsite at an event. (Excludes tablet devices)

How do I contact you when I arrive onsite?

We will have a service desk and/or a stores area onsite that is manned by our staff. It is usually located near the organisers office. If you can’t find us please call 0345 2263083 or grab anyone in a DBS polo shirt.

I need to hire a screen for an event – what’s the best way of mounting it?

Option1: Wall mount
If you would like to wall mount your screen you should immediately speak to the shell scheme contractor and ask them to reinforce the wall (with a ‘pad’) for which they will charge you. We can then attach the screen to the wall safely.

*NB Cable management can sometimes be a problem with shell scheme installs and our advice is to speak to your DBS account handler about this in advance. If the pad has not been installed when you arrive, you should speak with the shell contractor or hire a monitor stand from us.

Option 2: Floor stand
We can provide floor stand to support your screen. For monitors between 32’’ and 55’’ we would recommend a flat base monitor stand (Laptop shelf is optional). For larger screens (46’’ to 90’’) we would suggest using a parabella stand which comes with a glass shelf as standard.

Option 3: Custom built stand
We can fix the screen into an aperture of your custom built stand

Option 4: Desk stands
Desk stands are optional, please let us know if you would like one when you place your order. These are supplied free of charge.

My requirements have changed at the very last minute; can you help me?

Yes. We always do our best to fulfil last minute orders. We have spare equipment onsite & if you want something that needs to come from the warehouse we can make those arrangements & advise you of a cost and an ETA.

When the show finishes can I leave straight away?

You’re responsible for the equipment until its safely collected so we only ask that if you wish to leave immediately the show finishes, you tell our onsite team and we’ll make sure we collect your equipment in advance of others.
